Studio Playground Program for Kingston Camp

Program Dates: August 4-8, 2025

Camp Day/Time: Monday-Friday, 9:00-12:00

Performance Time: There will be a brief performance after lunch on Friday, August 8.

Description: Studio Playground camps explore the health benefits of laughter through movement, performance, and playful improvisation. In this camp, students will have mornings full of theater games, movement, and crafting projects. Students learn skills for teamwork, improvisation, narrative storytelling.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore the health benefits of laughter through movement and improvisation

  • Understand the actor’s tools of voice, body, and imagination

  • Engage an audience in narrative storytelling

  • Skills for communication, collaboration, self-awareness, and social awareness
