Storytelling & Play - Acting Class with Studio Playground - Grades K-2

Let’s laugh, sing, and make a beautiful ruckus! Classes begin with a group warm-up and physical acting game as students learn fundamental concepts for acting onstage. Students explore storytelling, movement, clowning, and performance projects. There is a brief performance for family members during the final class.

Learning objectives include:

  • Explore the health benefits of laughter through movement and improvisation

  • Understand the actor’s tools of voice, body, and imagination

  • Engage an audience in narrative storytelling

  • Skills for communication and collaboration

Comedy Hour - Acting Class with Studio Playground - Grades 3-5

Let’s get ready to think on our feet and make an audience laugh! Join Studio Playground for an improv class that teaches students the value of spontaneity, enthusiasm, and collaboration. Classes begin with a warm-up and physical acting game as students learn fundamental concepts for improvisation.There is a brief performance for family members during the final class.
