Storytelling & Play - Acting Class with Studio Playground

Let’s laugh, sing, and make a beautiful ruckus! Classes begin with a group warm-up and physical acting game as students learn fundamental concepts for acting onstage. Students explore storytelling, movement, clowning, and performance projects. 

Learning objectives include:

• Explore the health benefits of laughter through movement and improvisation

• Understand the actor’s tools of voice, body, and imagination

• Engage an audience in narrative storytelling

• Skills for communication and collaboration

There will be a brief performance for friends and family, which will take place during the last 20 minutes of the final class on November 2.
